Understanding Leverage Ratios

MegaBanX offers flexible leverage from 1x up to 100x depending on the asset class. Higher leverage increases profit potential but also lowers the buffer against liquidation.

Initial Margin: The percentage of the position value you must put up as collateral to open the trade. Maintenance Margin: The minimum percentage of equity you must hold to keep the trade open. If you fall below this, you are liquidated.

Changing Leverage

You can adjust leverage on an open position.

• Adding Margin: Increases your collateral, lowers effective leverage, and pushes liquidation price further away.

• Removing Margin: Increases effective leverage and brings liquidation price closer.
